General Guidelines
and Payment Information
The Eastern Emporium prides itself on beautiful clothing however
these items contain delicate beading and therefore should
be handled and worn in an appropriate manner. The Eastern
Emporium cannot be held responsible for damages to the item(s)
after purchase has been made, such as loss of beading / coins/
sequins. All items are hand made so no two items will be identical.
The Eastern Emporium will only accept the following methods
of payment:
1. Cheques (make payable
to R. NORTH and include card details)
2. Postal Orders or Balance Transfers.
3. Paypal

Dispatch and carriage
When we receive your order, payment will be processed and
your goods will be dispatched promptly. We use Royal Mail
'Signed For' Recorded delivery to help ensure your items are
delivered as quickly as possible (usually within 7-10 working
days). The buyer is responsible for all postage costs
incurred. By using Royal Mail's recorded delivery
system, all items will be insured to a maximum of
£30.
Should your order be more than £30
we would recommend that you have the items sent by Special
Delivery or Royal Mail Standard Parcels where the
insurance amount can be specified. Please note that recorded
or 'Signed For' Delivery only has a maximum refund
of £30 which is Royal Mail's policy.
A receipt of postage will be retained by
the Eastern Emporium for each parcel sent so that in the unlikely
event of a lost delivery the item can be tracked under
the Royal Mail 'Track and Trace Service'. No
refunds or replacement procedures of lost goods will begin
until the Royal Mails delivery policy of 21 days has elapsed
without the customer receiving the delivery. Obviously
if using Royal Mail Standard Parcels or Special Delivery a
refund for the total of the goods purchased will be given.
Customer Support and Service
In the unlikely event that you should have a problem, please
inform us as
soon as possible. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint
within 2
working days and endeavour to sort out the problem as quickly
as possible.

Returns Policy
We maticulously check each item before dispatch but if you
receive a product from the Eastern Emporium which is damaged,
please return unused within 7 days and we
will refund you the purchase price. This does not include
postage costs. Items must be sent back by 'signed for' recorded
delivery. No items will be refunded if they have been
lost using a non insured method of recorded postal delivery.
If we believe the item to have been damaged through misuse
or 'foul play' in an attempt to obtain a refund, none shall
be given.
We cannot offer refunds
for incorrect purchases. Please ask all questions related
to correct sizing for the garment before purchase.
This does not affect your statutory
rights as a consumer.
Contacting the Eastern
Emporium by Email or Post
We read every message that comes to us and try to respond
back within 24
hours of its receipt.
We will NEVER
sell or give out e-mail addresses or postal addresses to
anyone.
We save messages and/or e-mail
addresses ONLY if we think we'll need to
refer to them when we communicate with our customer. This
includes letting
our customers know about our latest products, deals and services.
General Terms and Conditions
If paying for goods by cheque, we must allow maximum of 7
days for cheque clearance before despatch.
Goods despatched to a third party are
entirely at your own risk.
Colour representation on the
Eastern Emporium website is as accurate as possible and may
change due to the use of flash photography on our images or
the customers' monitor settings.
All styles are subject to availability.
Unless otherwise stated all sizes are
approximate garment measurements in
inches and are shown for guidance only.
Many of the items are made with delicate beading and
therefore should be handled accordingly.
Right to Withdraw before
dispatch of goods.
If you wish to withdraw you order, please contact us as soon
as possible.
